Lead Engineer* Energy Systems / Drivetrain

Tasks that will support your personal growth:

Responsibility for the development and evaluation of electric drivetrains, fuel cell and energy storage systems as an experienced system developer
Implementation of requirements management for energy and drive systems and their components
Function development from the customer´s perspective
Definition of hardware and software features for energy and drive systems and their components
Integration of systems and subsystems, new technologies and innovative solutions in the concept development
Representation of the department in internal and external projects, work groups, committees, congresses and trade fairs
Management of technical project groups and supervision of bidding and allocation procedures, and external commissioning

Your skills that will help us to get ahead:

A degree in mechatronic engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a similar subject, with experience of the mobility and/or energy sector
In.depth technical skills in the design of alternative powertrains and energy storage systems (battery-electric, hydrogen,...)
A knowledge of energy sources and conventional powertrains would be desirable
A good working knowledge of interdisciplinary system functionality, also experience in operational strategy and energy management for energy and drivetrain systems
Initiative and the ability to work independently and systematically
Fluent in business German and English
