In Düsseldorf, on 21st February, 2017, EDAG Engineering GmbH received its tenth "Top Employer" award for outstanding human resource management in a row. At the end of the independent appraisal by the Top Employers Institute, the Wiesbaden-based engineering service provider took an excellent 1st place as "Top Employer Deutschland Ingenieure 2017". According to the jury's decision, the EDAG Group demonstrates outstanding employee orientation, and offers its employees excellent working conditions.
"We are delighted to have made first place, in recognition of our continued commitment to HR work. The constant further development of an attractive complete package for our employees is our maxim.
In my eyes, the combination of technically demanding challenges, a value-oriented working culture and modern working conditions is a decisive factor for success. At the end of the day, career prospects and the feel good factor have to be just right, in order to be able to keep and recruit highly motivated employees," explains Harald Poeschke, EDAG COO and Chief Human Resources Officer.
On the basis of these standards, EDAG has implemented a wide range of training opportunities in the course of the last few years. In addition to this, a number of health management and work-life balance programmes and a mentoring programme for future managers have been introduced. "What does the company do" or "how much does it pay" are not the only crucial questions on today's recruitment market: people also want to know exactly how a company defines and implements its working culture.
"As a design engineering company, we know that outstanding engineering performance can only be brought about if everyone in the company pulls together as a team and accepts a high level of personal responsibility. For this reason, we set great store by flat hierarchies, the performance-oriented development of men and women for managerial positions, and by open and respectful cooperation," explained Christoph Horvath, EDAG's Press Spokesman, during the official award ceremony in Düsseldorf.
The EDAG Group continues its growth strategy, and is constantly on the lookout for the brightest minds - particularly in the future-oriented automotive fields of electrics/electronics, digitalisation, alternative drive systems and software/app development.
As an engineering partner for complete vehicles and production plants, EDAG offers engineers a wealth of career prospects, and opportunities for their professional and personal development in this area.
In combination with the company's many well-known customers and international sites, EDAG is an exciting employer on the automotive market, both for people with professional experience and for career starters.
