190 young people are starting apprenticeships at EDAG (EDAG Engineering GmbH), its subsidiaries, and FFT Produktionssysteme GmbH & Co. KG this year. As always, there is a great variety of dream jobs to choose from: EDAG offers more than 30 different apprenticeships and dual study courses relating to the development of vehicles and production facilities.

For the 44th time now, a central welcome day was held in Fulda. This was attended by all the new apprentices and dual system students, so they could meet and take the first steps in their careers together. The focus of the meeting was getting to know each other, since team spirit is one of EDAG's most important factors for success – and this also applies to the training phase.

"Our trainees are in for a very exciting time. The automobile world is currently redefining itself. Starting with autonomous driving, to the complete digitisation of mobility – not a single stone will be left unturned. Besides the company's responsibility for the development and advancement of young talent in people ready to make these changes, training at EDAG is of great importance to the entire company: as we carry out this training, we are already developing our future employees," said Birthe Kristin Kuhlenbeck, Head of Recruiting and Training.

Since 1973, many young people have taken their first steps towards jobs of their choice. The company is attractive to young talents in electrical engineering and general engineering. Apart from offering work in these exciting fields of development, it also actively supports health management, work/life balance and the advancement of women. Advancement always comes first: we also have a mentoring programme aimed at developing management skills in potential young managers.
