Sales Manager* Automotive

Tasks that will support your personal growth:
  • Identifying and analyzing the direct competitive environment in day-to-day business operations as well as coordinating across segments and departments with the technical sales team
  • Supporting internal and external global networking in the customer and market environment
  • Continuously maintaining existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers
  • Planning and conducting initial meetings/presentations with potential customers
  • Targeted development of accounts, including cross-selling
  • Continuous maintenance of customer contacts at both technical and management levels
  • Conducting and managing the sales process (especially for non-standardized inquiries) and participating in or leading negotiations with the customer
  • Developing the annual business plan and creating planning and forecasts within one's own area of responsibility, deriving sales goals within the responsibility area, and defining operational, short-term sales measures
  • Reporting and interpreting defined KPIs
  • Taking on project management tasks for medium to large projects
Your skills that will help us to get ahead:
  • Completed technical or business studies or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in sales (3-5 years), preferably in the automotive sector (or comparable B2B experience)
  • Fluent English skills, also in technical areas - additional foreign languages ​​are advantageous
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to work and self-organization
  • Increased willingness to travel and driver's license Class B
  • A high degree of goal-oriented, customer- and solution-oriented thinking and acting
  • Knowledge of relevant IT tools (CRM, MS Office)
The role can be located at any European EDAG office.
