This is exactly what the Smart Industry Summit on September 23 and 24, 2026 is about. Two focus days, curated presentations, concrete use cases and direct on-site exchange create a framework in which technological developments become tangible impulses for real-world practice. The Smart Product focus area explores how ideas are transformed into marketable, robust, and sustainable products. Smart Factory focuses on the question of how production and logistics can become measurably more efficient, transparent, and robust while simultaneously putting people at the center.

We demonstrate how, by leveraging technological solutions in the Industrial Metaverse, factories can be developed, optimized, and transformed for the future to maintain economic viability and competitiveness.

This creates a focus that brings together data, implementation, training, and people-centered work processes.

Focus Area 3 Defense

The Defense focus area delves deeper into the topic of Integrated Product Support and centers on the sustainable manageability of complex systems throughout their entire lifecycle. Planning, logistics, maintenance, and obsolescence management are considered early on to ensure that availability, lifecycle costs, and operational requirements work together reliably.

Anyone who wants to learn how to specifically reduce costs per kilometer driven or operating hour should focus not only on procurement but, above all, on operations. Using concrete use cases, we’ll demonstrate how this principle can be applied to your own product.
