We are pleased to announce that the EDAG Group is able to develop further resources in a best-cost country: with the purchase of CAXSOL Pvt. Ltd. and IWOVS Pvt. Ltd., we are underlining our goal of expanding our presence in India. By integrating the two new companies into our two existing Indian subsidiaries, we are gaining BCC resources that will enable us to increase our competitiveness throughout the entire group.

After almost six years of exclusive and successful cooperation between EDAG and IWOVS, we have decided to integrate them into our existing EDAG PS India by way of an asset deal in order to strengthen the partnership. This will enable us to deliver cost-effective expertise in all areas of the existing portfolio in India. In addition to production solutions, we will be able to offer VE and EE services from India, serving the following business areas: body-in-white, CAE, motorcycle, embedded software, functional safety, PPDM and after sales. We are confident that this merger will give us the flexibility and adaptability needed for the global market.

CAXSOL is also being acquired by the group as part of an asset deal with the clear aim of opening up new market areas in the software sector. The company belongs to the EE segment and is managed by the Software & Digitization business unit. CAXSOL will focus on providing customized and flexible solutions for small and medium-sized companies in Germany in order to diversify our customer portfolio.
