What does a production planner do? – These are your tasks:
As a production planner, you will take on one of our challenging and exciting jobs. In addition to your most important tasks of planning and organization, you will monitor production processes, liaise closely with other departments and find solutions to any bottlenecks that arise. Your job includes strategic planning, operational tasks and digitalization.
Process design
- Development and optimization of production processes
- Creating smart factory strategies and implementation concepts
- Planning flow production and automation solutions
Plant planning
- Dimensioning of production systems using simulation
- Virtual production planning with special tools
- Preparation of tender documents for new systems
Process control
- Coordination of production processes
- Monitoring and optimization of material flows
- Supervision of commissioning and start-up of new systems
Quality assurance
- Development of quality planning concepts
- Process validation through digital planning tools
- Carrying out process and ergonomics simulations
