Electrical engineering tasks – what do you do as an electrical engineer?
As an electrical engineer, your job description includes challenging technical areas with a wide range of tasks. With your technical understanding and analytical skills, your work as an electrical engineer involves planning and developing solutions for new projects as well as maintaining and optimizing existing systems. Hardware and electronics:
- Development of electronic assemblies and sensors
- Assembly and integration of system hardware in collaboration with system engineers
Aeronautical engineering:
- Carrying out testing and application services for aircraft components
- Testing of control units on the aircraft (on board and in the laboratory)
Technical documentation:
- Creation and maintenance of detailed test plans
- Updating the test benches with the latest hardware and software
