Before a vehicle or vehicle part goes into series production, models are made of it. And this is exactly what happens in our model and prototype construction department, because this is where the ideas of our engineers* and designers* take shape for the first time.
Precise and clean work is the top priority here. Your perfectionism is required! As a model maker*, you will work with a wide variety of materials: from plastic and cast resin to foam and wood.
Does that sound interesting to you? Do you love creating things with your hands and can keep secret projects to yourself? Then take your future into your own hands and become part of it!
As a body and vehicle construction mechanic* at EDAG, anything is possible and your tasks during your training are varied. One day you may be converting a classic car and the next you may be helping to design a completely new innovative vehicle, such as our EDAG CityBot.
In addition to working on cars, this profession also involves the production and installation of bodywork components, the construction and conversion of individual vehicles and prototypes, the use of modern measurement and diagnostic technology, as well as the maintenance and repair of vehicles. Does that sound exciting to you? Do you enjoy precision work and have good manual skills? Then you'll fit in perfectly with us!

Are you interested in the really big machines in factories? Trained industrial mechanics* don't work on assembly lines, they build them. You organize and control the production processes and not only that: at EDAG you assemble the metal or plastic components, some of which you manufacture yourself, or machine the prefabricated raw materials and workpieces according to the work plans and technical drawings of your colleagues*. Of course, this also includes quality control: Commissioning and testing the functionality of the finished devices is also part of your daily tasks.
Do you work very precisely and enjoy a manual job? Perfect, then you've come to the right place!
