Start by searching for the right position and clicking “Apply Now.” Our online application will guide you step by step through the process. Once your application has been successfully submitted, our team will carefully review all documents and get back to you as quickly as possible. Typically, you can expect to hear back within two to three weeks. If your application meets our requirements, our recruiting team will contact you to schedule an interview.
Of course, if you have any questions in the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Depending on the situation, we conduct interviews in person, over the phone, or digitally. If everything aligns for both sides, your career with us will begin.
We look forward to hearing from you and receiving your application!

To guide you in the best possible way on your journey to EDAG, here's a list of questions and answers about starting with us.
The choice is yours. In general, you can find all job postings on the EDAG career page, with some additional listings on job portals like Stepstone. No matter which way you apply, your application will be sent directly to the relevant recruiting team through both channels.
If you are actively looking for a job, feel free to apply. Generally, we recommend applying about 1-3 months before your desired start date.
Yes, please. The reason is that each job posting is associated with a specific department, location, and recruiting team. For data protection reasons, we cannot forward your application. However, once you are registered and your digital profile is set up, you can easily apply to one or more additional job postings with just a few clicks.
Of course. We are aware that notice periods can be as long as 3 or even 6 months. We are prepared for that. What matters is you.
Of course. Our job postings describe the ideal qualifications, but we are interested in the person behind the certificates and degrees. There are many paths to EDAG: perhaps you have gained your professional experience through a slightly different career journey? Share your story with us!
Since flexible working hours and work-life balance are important to us as an employer, we offer most of our job postings on a part-time basis. Please pay attention to the relevant note in the job postings on our portal and let us know your preferred weekly working hours in your application.
Of course! If there isn't a suitable position currently advertised, we are happy to receive your unsolicited application. Our recruiting team will then review it to see if we can find an opportunity for you.
Paper applications are a thing of the past. Please apply exclusively online through the respective job posting on EDAG/career or another job portal.
Yes, just once. This offers many benefits: Once your digital profile is set up, you can easily view your open applications at any time. If you want to apply for another position, it can be done with just a few clicks.
Cover letter? The decision is entirely up to you; it is not mandatory with us. We ask for a resume and your relevant/current certificates.
This should not be an obstacle to your application. It will be required later in the process, so simply submit it once you have it.
We have summarized this for you in a checklist:
✓ Cover letter: If you include a cover letter, address it to the respective contact person from the recruiting team. You can find their name in the job postings. Summarize the key points and main messages, including your possible start date and salary expectations..
✓ Resume: It’s best to present your resume in a clear, tabular format for easy readability. Try to limit it to a maximum of 2 pages and ensure all your work experience is complete.
✓ Application photo: It’s entirely up to you whether you want to include a photo with your application. If you choose to, make sure it is a professional image.
✓ File formats: We generally recommend combining your application documents into as few PDF files as possible. The maximum allowable file size is 15 MB. Common file formats (like MS Office, PDF, ZIP) are supported.
✓ Check for spelling and grammar mistakes.
✓ Overall Impression: The overall presentation matters. You don’t need to get too creative with colors; what’s important is that your application makes a positive first impression.
If you receive a rejection, your documents will be deleted no later than 6 months after the decision.
You will receive a confirmation email upon receipt of your application. Within the next two to three weeks, both the recruiting team and the relevant department will review your application. If your documents are convincing, you will be invited for an interview. During the interview, which will take place between you, the relevant department, and a member of the recruiting team, we will determine together whether you are a good fit for the job and for EDAG, and vice versa. If necessary, a second interview will follow. Afterward, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.
As soon as your application documents are received, you will immediately receive a confirmation. If you do not receive it, please check the candidate center to ensure that you have completed the application process.
After receiving your application, we will get back to you within 2-3 weeks. If you haven’t heard from us after 3 weeks, it’s not intentional. Please feel free to reach out to us proactively, but rest assured: we haven’t forgotten about you.
Please refer to the contact person from the recruiting team, along with their contact details, in the job posting you applied for.
You’ve been invited to a video, phone, or in-person interview.
In any case, dress appropriately for the job position. At EDAG, we are happy to skip the tie and prefer a casual yet professional dress code. Also, just be yourself. We want to get to know you personally, and we can do that best when you're not trying to be someone you're not. Of course, we hope you’ll share a lot about yourself. We will give you insights into the company, the position, the benefits, and we’ll guide the conversation and ask you some questions.
The invitation contains all the information you need for functionality. We will be visible with our cameras during the interview, and it would be nice to get a first impression of you via camera as well. Please test your camera and audio settings before the interview. And also, pay attention to your background ;)
You will usually agree on the next steps directly at the end of the interview with the department or the person from the recruiting team. In general, we will reach out to you and let you know what happens next. If you don't hear from us within 2 weeks, feel free to contact your point of contact. This is by no means intentional; unforseen circumstances may have arisen.
You want to get to know us personally? You have plenty of opportunities to do so across Germany. At career fairs, workshops, and exciting events like our EDAG Connect events, you'll learn more about our exciting projects, team spirit, and innovative working methods.
